Lainie Johnson was born in NJ and moved to Arizona in 1993. "I thought I was in heaven and thought I would never leave all that beautiful sunshine." God had other plans!  In 2006, He brought Lainie and her husband to Kerrville, and subsequently Kerrville Bible Church, where they were encouraged to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to study Biblical Counseling.  They became Certified Biblical Counselors in 2009, and their business closed within one month of their certification being completed. What did God have in mind? "We had no idea, but we knew He did."  In October, 2009, Lainie became the Center's Client Services Director where she has the opportunity to share the gospel message and use her Biblical Counseling training every day!  What lessons has she learned?  First, "God will not always give you sunshine, but He will never leave or forsake you" and second, "When God gives you a spiritual gift, use it for His glory and He will take care of the details."
