We Provide People With:

PREGNANCY INFORMATION

Pregnancy Consultation & Free Pregnancy Test

We provide free pregnancy tests, done at our Center, by qualified volunteers, that can then be provided as proof of pregnancy in order to obtain Medicaid.  We also provide free education regarding the options you face if you indeed are pregnant.  We can even counsel on how to tell your parents if you need help with that.  When we have confirmed your pregnancy, you will receive a complimentary "Mommy Packet", including a coupon for a free bottle of pre-natal vitamins.

Adoption Education

Considering the option of placing your child for adoption?  We have homes to refer you to that will provide a place for you to live, give you free counseling and encourage your participation in the adoption arrangements, even including you in the process of selecting the adoptive family and the possible visitation arrangements to be considered.

Maternity Home Information & Referrals

If pregnancy necessitates changing your current housing arrangements, we provide choices for you to turn a new page in your life.

Labor & Delivery

No matter how many times you've been through it before, our Labor & Delivery Classes will make it easier.  We offer a three part class designed to cover what will surely happen, as well as what might possibly happen.  Knowing what to anticipate and how to handle it ahead of time will provide a smoother time of giving birth.

Infant Parenting

At the Center you can take classes that will help you to be better prepared the day your baby is born.  We offer classes such as "Bathing and Diapering" , "Feeding (breast or bottle)", and "Baby Calming" to name a few.

We provide on-site free pregnancy testing along with appropriate verification and referral to Medicaid, WIC and other services that may be appropriate for your situation.

The Center takes pride in offering educational resources to those who would like to learn more about pregnancy, childbirth and nurturing children.   Books, audio-visuals as well as printed brochures that can be obtained from our Library or as "take-home" literature from our classrooms.  We can also arrange an appointment with our volunteer nurse to talk with you about any of your concerns.
